This past month of the A-Z Challenge has been fun! Posting six days a week keeps my mind working and my typing fingers nimble on the keyboard. Unfortunately, my “real” writing projects haven’t progressed much in the last thirty days. I’ve been having too much fun visiting all the other A-Z blogs.
So now it’s time for the Story-a-Day Challenge. I want to do it , because it will keep me writing and it was so much fun when I did it in the past. BUT, and this is a huge BUT, I have to get back to working on my non-fiction book, my novel, and my memoir. Thinking up a whole new story every day will use up too much of my limited stash of imagination and energy! SO, I’m going to modify Story-a-Day just a little. This month I will write a Scene-a-Day!
Every day I will post a scene from one of my books. It may be a scene from Fulton, Missouri 1920-1960, or it may be from my novel, River Rose, or it may even be from my memoir, Snakes in the Kitchen.
Scene-a-Day starts tomorrow May 1, 2014.
